The most basic method of eliminating moisture from compressed air is to lower the temperature. Compressed air is transported via a heat interchanger in this dryer, and cold refrigerant at roughly 3 degrees Celsius is fed through the other side of the heat interchanger. At this temperature, the majority of the moisture condenses, which is subsequently separated and drained in a moisture separator.
